# Display Posts Shortcode for Custom Fields

 * hello everyone……..and Bill great plugin……
 * i m using your plugin to display numerous lists on the same page some of which
   i want to show a custom field and some not. Ive used your filter ([https://gist.github.com/1209601](https://gist.github.com/1209601))
   successfully its just that this way the code is always automatically showing.
 * How can i add the extension to the shortcode to show something like custom_field_name
   =”custom field name or custom field id” to activate it.
 * for example, i have 2 custom field name, one is author name and another is author
   bio. so now i want to display only custom field name(author name) in page using
   display post shortcut.

 * i want to display custom field value using shortcode like below:

   field name” order=”DESC”]
