# Display the current time

 * Hi, we’ve tried to use the custom tag to display the current time on the site
   but it’s not working. We’ve followed your article [https://contactform7.com/2015/01/10/adding-a-custom-form-tag/](https://contactform7.com/2015/01/10/adding-a-custom-form-tag/)
   copied and pasted the code to our functions.php but it doesn’t work.
 * Can you let us know how can we display the current time?

   is hidden so you will need to update your host file to view it since it’s still

 * Hi, leslieannetd, I’m another CF7 user.
 * The code for adding a custom form tag was working for me in a clean WordPress
   installation with minimal plugins.
 * Out of curiosity, what version of WordPress are you using?
 * This problem could also be related to your theme/other active plugins.

    We’re using Gourmet theme latest version and WP version
   is 5.9.2
 * Yes it might be an issue with the theme or other plugins as you have confirmed
   it’s working on your end.
