Displaying events for current date

    Is there a way to only show events (current and past) to the current date? As today is December 18th, I’d like to only show events with a date of December 18, whether they be from 2016 or 1970. I have 2 events for December 19 and it is showing up today as well but should not display until tomorrow.

    Hi there @darheim,

    That’s an interesting question. At the moment there doesn’t seem to be an easy way to get this done. The future events checks the event date with the current date vice versa with past. This includes all dates that happen between the set time period and the current date.

    I would envision that we would need to build out an addon for something like that, that would check the month and day but exclude the year in its comparisons.

    It’s not an easy task but is certainly something achievable and something I can see an add-on name “This day in history” or something similar being beneficial and pretty cool to have.

    We can take a look at the possibility of building out such an add-on if that would be beneficial to you.
