Hi Tom, would your plugin enable me to display short descriptions under menu items? Similar to examples shown on this post http://www.wpbeginner.com/wp-themes/how-to-add-menu-descriptions-in-your-wordpress-themes/

Wordpress lets you enable menu descriptions from the ‘screen options’ drop down, but it suppresses them from appearing on your site, for some bizarre reason.

Most of the suggested fixes I’ve found online involve adding some ‘walker class'(?) code, but I’m not a developer so i don’t like tinkering with code and was looking for a plugin that might do it for me automatically. Would the Max Mega Menu offer that?

    Cheers

    Hi Frank,

You can enable menu item descriptions under Mega Menu > General Settings.

Cheers Tom, that did the trick. Much obliged. Frank.

Hi Tom, apologies for a follow-up question, but is there any way to wrap the lines of the description so they break onto multiple lines?

So for instance if the menu item was ‘About’ and the description was ’20 years plumbing experience’, could it appear like this:

    About
    20 years
    plumbing
    experience

    Rather than

    About
    20 years copywriting experience

I couldn’t find anywhere to adjust the column width of individual menu items to try and make the break happen. Let me know if you’ve any ideas.

    Cheers

    Frank
