 * We’re migrating our current blog that was built on a custom solution in to WordPress,
and one of the problems I’m hitting is that the previous app assigned users a“
level”, that determined how their posts were displayed. The user level was unlike
the users role, in that it didn’t affect their permissions or approval workflows,
just how their posts displayed on the main page.
 * Is there any plugin that does this sort of thing? I’d rather not have to hack
WordPresses tables and the loop to do this, as doing so removes the benefit of
us using an off the shelf product versus our custom solution, which always required
   hacking/maintenance.
