Ditty broke Dashboard

    I recently tried to access my dashboard and it was experiencing permanent timeouts.
    Seems that the Ditty plugin was causing the problem. The website worked ok (including the ticker), but anything in Dashboard was inaccessible.
    Disabling the plugin from CPanel’s WordPress Toolkit fixed the problem.
    Running Ditty 3.0.20 with WordPress 5.9.3 and custom theme.
    It would be shame if I had to remove it permanently – that’s why I’m here posting this – any suggestions on getting it working without this bug?
    I’ve been running it without issues for the last year.

    Were you running 3.0.19 before updating to 3.0.20? If so, I think I may have the solution to this issue… If it’s due to the code I’m thinking of I’m not sure why it would cause a timeout issue, but I do know of a warning that I’ve already resolved and can release today.

    Can you let me know which version of php you are running?

    If the issue is stemming from Ditty I definitely want to get the issue resolved.

    Am using legacy code but it shows only when wordpress admin logged in when i logout the page it shows only shortcode. What is the issue. Please help me out.

    @bluetonguebuilt this issue should now be resolved. Please update your plugin when you get a chance. I’m going to close out this ticket as it seems to have some comments removed for some reason.
