    The plugin doesn’t recognize anything as anything, it runs the whole thing through PHP’s own built-in interpreter, as is.

    If it thinks the code is ending, then that’s because your code actually is ending. The plugin doesn’t put its own spin on PHP syntax or second guess it or anything.

    If your code is incorrect, then you will get incorrect results.
