• Hi everyone, we just updated the plugin to 5.0.24, which made some modifications to how the flags work. Now when your website visitors click the flag of your default language, it will properly returns your website to the original language, then hide the Google Toolbar until another translation is made.

Please post your opinions if you like how this works.

    Thanks, Rob

  • Thankyou very much for your hardwork and dedication Rob, it is well done!
    Anyway, I had suggestion.

I am using shortcode to show menu dropdown, but the only option recently is label.
You can improve this by making the shorcode accept “flag” as variable
So when we put [glt language=”English” flag=”English”].
There will be English flag with english word beside it. It is good design.

You can check my website using your plugin at
    [ redacted ]
Anyway, I already give you 5 star, cheers!

Once again, thankyou for your hardwork.

    Best Regards

@rm2773 It’s great to ask for feedback but if users start posting links to their site or the topic runs away with “I have this problem” then I’m going to close topic.

    *Drinks coffee*

See, when people post links the topics can become spammy. Not good. When the topics deviate from “do you like how the flags work?” to something else then that’s not really productive or on point.

I’m chiming in to just make that clear and I am not accusing anyone of ill will. 🙂 But lets make sure this topic stays on point please.

Thanks Jan! I probably won’t post anything like this again, just to keep clear of trouble. I appreciate you letting us know.
