 * Is there any documentation for this plug-in that explains what all the options
do in a very basic, easy to understand way?
 * For example: fb:app_id. What is this? Why do I care? What are my choices? All
I know is that it has to do with Facebook.
 * Some of the options seem obvious but others are confusing. Here’s another example:
   og:site_name
 * The description says ‘From blog title’. My theme uses a blog section to format
the look of the site but my site is not a blog site so I don’t want the title
of the blog section to be the title of my site. So I just turn that off? What
do I turn on instead to put the site name I want?
 * These are just a few examples.
 * Is there any way to test these changes? I just added an image for my site (og:
image) but it didn’t show up in FB when I posted my site. I read that it may
take some time so how do I test right away?
 * I would just like clear descriptions to explain what each option does so I fully
understand the changes I can make. Thank you.

 * Hi there dcoplan,
 * Unfortunately there’s no such documentation.
 * If your website is a registered Facebook app, you should set the ID on `fb:app_id`
to associate the links with your app.
 * `og:site_name`is normally your website title.
 * To force the `og:image` cache refresh on the Facebook side you must “Fetch new
   scrap information” on [https://developers.facebook.com/tools/debug/](https://developers.facebook.com/tools/debug/)

 * Ok. I’m requesting documentation for the benefit of everyone who uses your plugin.
I would think it would be very easy to write and help a lot of people.

 * I agree. It’s not obvious what the settings mean and where they are pulling data
   from

 * I agree as well. I’m having a lot more trouble setting this up than I usually
   have with plug-ins.

 * Two areas of clarification would help greatly:
 * 1) Facebook App ID
 * Facebook app specified in fb:app_id meta tag is not published yet. App attribution
will be disabled when shared stories are rendered. Please check the status in
   the app settings.
 * What is needed for app review for verification / publish y/n and what would the
settings look like specifically for the notes sections of this plugin?
    No instruction
or documentation to set this up properly.
 * 2) How to get WordPress to point to the proper og-URL and Canonical URL. Must
every domain’s DNS be set up using a CName rec? Why do all standard posts work
perfectly when sharing, even some Custom Post Types while there are a handful
of CPT that continually redirect to the Canonical URL displaying as 301. No instruction
or documentation to set this up properly.
