I wanted to know if after the user has given consent to the monitoring, the plugin can document the consent received. Still I wanted to know, if in case the user changes his mind, it is possible to activate the plugin through a link in the menu or through a shortcode. Thanks for everything. I don’t want to do that, as this would need another consent if you want to log their choices. * There will be a new option soon to choose a page, where the popup will always shown, so user can change the setting. * Thank you for the shortcode idea, that sounds good. I am happy to know that you will soon implement the possibility for users to change their mind even through a shortcode. With regard to consent, the GDPR requires the data controllers to prove they have received it. In the case of your plugin, how can you comply with this policy? Thanks to your plugin, when the user arrives on the website, it is not monitored and no analytics js code is written in the HTML of the web pages. This is gdpr- compliant. The problem occurs if the user agrees to be monitored instead. In this case, how can we prove to have received this consent? If the user decides to withdraw his consent, it means that prior to this moment he had consented to the monitoring. On the page where you will enter the possibility to change your mind (accept or refuse to give your consent), is it possible to create a report to show that you have obtained this consent for the individual user? This report, would at any time, state the status of all consents for individual users( consent given or consent not given) Could this be a testimony of the consent received? Thanks for everything. The technology itself is the proof, that it works as expected. If you click on the accept button, it will send the data and if you choose the decline button, no data will be sent to Google. * There is no log and there couldn’t be any log to prove such a thing. Even if it logs the event, what is the proof, that the user clicked on that button? This plugin will never log any data, that could be included under the GDPR.
