    I just want to understand this.
 * If I place, say, a calendar on one page in the site, does the calendar coding
   then appear in the source on every page of the site, even if the calendar itself
   isn’t on that page?

 * Are you doing something like embedding a Google Calendar into a page using the
   page editor?
 * In a case like this, it will only appear on the page you add it to.
