 * Hi,
 * I have a plugin called Visual composer. If it’s active, then super carousel on
   the homepage on my website doesn’t work well. That’s why I was hoping this plugin
   would help me to deactivate visual composer for homepage only but it doesn’t
   seem like working because the page is still corrupt.

 * It will work to do that but the homepage can be tricky for some people. I’m guessing
   you have a page post type set as your page. Try creating a plugin filter with
   your homepage url as the permalink and disable it that way.

 * Is there a shortcode for that that I can use? I can check is_page(ID) but then
   how do I deactivate a plugin though for that page?

 * No. On the page edit screen there is a meta box for plugin organizer. You just
   turn the plugin off. The plugin filters are under Plugin Organizer in the admin
   menu. Create a new filter and enter your homepage url in the permalink field.
   Then go down to the plugin organizer meta box and switch that plugin to off.

 * I did. It didn’t fix the problem either…

 * Do you see this message at the top of the plugin organizer meta box?
 * “You currently have Selective Plugin Loading disabled. None of the changes you
   make here will have any affect on what plugins are loaded until you enable it.
   You can enable it by going to the settings page and clicking enable under Selective
   Plugin Loading.”

 * Then I’m not sure why the code from the plugin you disabled would still be loading
   on the page that the plugin filter is set to.

 * Would you be able to take a look at it? Or recommend any other plugin or shortcode.
   All I need to disable 1 plugin for homepage.

 * Ok so what is the problem with your home page? I’m not seeing anything broken.
   I can also see that visual composer is disabled.

 * Thank you very much for checking if it’s working. I am really confused today.
   At some point before slider on homepage would work properly if I disabled the
   visual composer. Now sometimes works sometimes doesn’t When it doesn’t work properly,
   first couple seconds while page is loading I see half of one of the image half
   of another.. Thank you for your helpfulness Jeff!
