 * Hello,
 * Great work, after our testing, it is working well in single wordpress site, but
   in wordpress MU sites, if activated in network wide, it does not display in sub
   sites. So, does it support wordpress MU?
 * Thanks a lot, and have a nice day.

 * Hi alexlii,
 * Thanks for testing.
 * Can you explain what you mean by “it does not display in sub sites”?
 * If you are talking about the CBOX admin dashboard, then you are correct. When
   network-activated, the CBOX admin dashboard only displays in the “Network Admin”
   area.
 * Let us know if you meant something else.

 * Hello,
 * Thanks for your reply, yes, I understand what you mean by “the CBOX admin dashboard
   only displays in the “Network Admin” area.”
 * Should there be any issue, I will let you know, thanks again.

 * Here is a question…
 * we follow the instruction of buddypress official( [https://codex.buddypress.org/getting-started/installation-in-wordpress-multisite/](https://codex.buddypress.org/getting-started/installation-in-wordpress-multisite/))
   —————————————————
 * B. Network-wide Activation – BuddyPress root blog in Secondary Site
 * Go to Dashboard → Network Admin.
    Click on Sites link. Find the ID number of
   the site you want to be the root site of your BuddyPress installation. Open up
   your installation’s wp-config.php file. Add define ( ‘BP_ROOT_BLOG’, $blog_id);
   to your wp-config.php file where $blog_id is the ID number of your chosen site
   and save the file.
 * Go to Dashboard → Network Admin.
    Add BuddyPress through Plugins → Add New. Activate
   BuddyPress. You will be redirected to the BuddyPress Welcome screen. Configure
   BuddyPress for Multisite. ——————————————————————
 * so, we activate buddypress network wide, and configured all the pages in sub
   domain at buddypress.mydomain.com.
 * and the question is whether I should activate all other plugins in CBOX network
   wide or side wide in the subdomain? which way is the best performance choice?
 * Looking forward to your reply, thanks a lot!

 * At the moment, CBOX works by activating all its plugins network-wide.
 * For example, if you activated “Forums” from the CBOX dashboard, bbPress will
   be activated network-wide. This wouldn’t be great for your entire network.
 * For now, to workaround this, you can toggle CBOX’s “Expert Mode”:
    [http://commonsinabox.org/documentation/expert-mode](http://commonsinabox.org/documentation/expert-mode)
 * Then, you should deactivate “Forums” from the CBOX dashboard. Next, you can manually
   activate “bbPress” only on your BuddyPress subdomain site.
 * Let me know if that is a suitable workaround.

 * Hi Ray,
 * Thanks so much for your reply, I will test expert-mode next, and will let you
   know. For now, I understand that CBOX is an great tool to compiled package for
   buddypress although we might not open all of the service to our users, but I
   would like to do that step by step.
 * BTW, I know you are really expert in this field, and I am looking for two plugins
   for bbpress and buddypress, but I did not find them in CBOX, so you might give
   me some suggestion.
 * One plugin is for the purpose of “Featured bbpress topic and excerpts”, and another
   plugin for “posting from buddypress”. any suggestions to find these kind of plugins?
 * and I tried a lot from wordpress.org, but they all did fit my need, any suggestions
   would be highly appreciated.
 * Alex
