# Does it work with multisite?

 * I installed this plugin on my WordPress multisite, and it seemed to have no effect
   at all. Hitting /wp-json produced the usual page full of API information. I tried“
   network activating” the plugin, and activating it per site. No effect either 
   way.
 * Is the plugin supposed to work for multisite? Thanks.

 * I also cleared all my WP caches. No difference.

 * The plugin is very basic and uses WP core functionality to disable the REST API
   for non-logged users. If you were logged in while testing, please log out and
   try again. Or you can try testing in a different/clean browser (where you are
   not logged in). Either way, I will investigate and try to resolve any issue on

 * I just used an incognito browser to hit my site with your plugin enabled, and
   the API was still functioning. Thanks very much for looking into multisite issues.

 * Hey [@maiden_taiwan](https://wordpress.org/support/users/maiden_taiwan/), I just
   re-tested the plugin on Multisite and it seems to working normally. I tested 
   with both network activation and single-site activation on WP Multisite. Correct
   results logged in, logged out, and using incognito/private browsing.
 * So not sure what the issue might be on your particular setup, but sounds like
   there might be some interference with another plugin or maybe something weird
   a theme is doing.
