# Does Not Work With Theme

 * Hello!
 * I am using the Cubic theme which is a child theme of another called Boardwalk.
   I cannot for the life of me get Responsive Menu to work with the site I am trying
   to put together.
 * I am completely new to WordPress and am having a hell of a time getting this 
   to work. My site is thaggles.com and I would appreciate any help I can get in
   trying to get this to work! Basically I want the menu to only take up 30 or 40%
   of the screen on the right hand side almost as if it were hovering above the 
   content of the website itself. Help?

 * Yes, Peter, I have read through the documentation. However, when I try to make
   the menu smaller (so that it doesn’t stretch across the entire screen when it
   expands) it shows up strangely and on the left side of the screen.
 * This particular menu is default in the theme, must I disable that and use Responsive
   Menu’s own theme? I thought that it would simply modify the existing menu.

 * And I have clicked “update options” but to no avail.

 * Hey there,
 * It can’t modify your existing menu, it adds a new one that only shows up at the
   Breakpoint you specify.
 * You can hide your original menu using mine but you can’t modify your original
   one as that is set by your theme.
 * I hope that helps clear it up a bit.
