Does php code with text files (fwrite and so) not work in wordpress?

    The simple answer would be “no”.

    Often when I use a script that I found on the Internet it doesn’t work in WordPress either, except for sometimes in a template. When they make the same script especially for WordPress on Github, then it works but I don’t see why. Also, it’s not obvious that they will help you with something outside of their scripts.
