# Does recalculate function automatically issue refund?

 * Hi, just trying to clarify something. Customer place an order for product “A”
   that costs $300. Now he changed his mind and wants product “B” that costs $200.
   
   I noticed I can edit order and add/remove product which presents me with “recalculate”
   button. Question is when I replace expensive product with cheaper one does it
   issue refund automatically? Or how is it handled?

 * Replacing expensive product with cheaper one will not refund automatically.
 * In such situation, I would suggest refunding the order with the expensive product
   and then ask the customer to place an order with the cheaper product.

 * Thank you! Yep, I just tried it. I was able to manually refund so no issues. 
   Just wanted to make sure it doesn’t do it by itself 🙂
