 * Hello. When one uploads an image to WordPress, several smaller thumbnails of
   that image are automatically created (e.g. small, medium, large, etc). When I
   use your plugin to compress an image that already exists in my WordPress library,
   does your plugin in-turn ensure all the thumbnails associated with that image
   are also compressed? Or would I have to do that separately?
 * Currently, I have many unoptimized thumbnail images on my site. I am looking
   to optimize all those thumbnails, and was hoping I could use your plugin to do
   so.
 * Thanks.

 * Hello [@cag8f](https://wordpress.org/support/users/cag8f/)
 * Hope all is well!
 * Thank you for your question. Yes, the Smush lite version is optimizing all thumbnails.
   To select which thumbnail size needs to be optimized, please go to Smush > Bulk
   Smush, please see this [screenshot](https://monosnap.com/file/foGuAzDy21N7jEUiMXUg0xjxiyxnVr).
 * Smush checks if there thumbnails that need to be optimized. Click on Re-Check
   Images button and Smush will scan your site for not yet optimized images.Please

 * Let us know if you will have any further questions!

 * OK thanks. I installed the plugin and used it, both in bulk mode and single mode.
   I have one question. If I open a single image in my WordPress library for editing,
   then click the ‘Smush’ button, the image and its thumbnails are compressed, as
   expected. On completion, Smush provides a report, listing all the thumbnails,
   whether they were compressed or not, and how much compression occurred. I then
   used the bulk Smush tool which compressed 50 images at once. After the bulk tool
   completes, is there a similar report I can view that lists all the thumbnails,
   and whether they were compressed or not?
 * I ask because at first, I compressed a few images individually. In a few of those,
   the Smush report notified me that the original image was not compressed, as it
   exceeded the 1 MB limit. I’d like to know if this occurred with any of the images
   I compressed with the bulk Smush tool.
 * Thanks.

 * Hi [@cag8f](https://wordpress.org/support/users/cag8f/),
 * Let me start with a bit of a followup on which images Smush optimizes.
    In the
   free version of Smush, your full-size image is skipped but all of your thumbnails
   will be optimized.
 * I’m afraid that there’s not a report to show a list of the skipped images and
   you will need to check the stats inside the Media panel.
    However, since WP creates
   defined thumbnails those are usually below 1MB, if you don’t have some huge thumbnails
   on your site, so there shouldn’t be a lot of images that got skipped.
 * Cheers,
    Predrag
