 * Hello, I run WP on a closed network company server, when I analyze this plugin
   it is greatly impacting my page-loads, just wondering what the cause of that 
   might be, is it trying to access anything external?

   time a bit, but only for the Add/Edit Post pages.
 * It doesn’t affect any other page and doesn’t require any external resources.
