 * I want to restrict content based on if a subscriber is “active” or “on-hold” 
   on WooCommerce Subscriptions. Can I do that with this subscription?

 * Thanks for the info.
 * WE only have restrictions based on user roles and doesn’t have features to apply
   restrictions based on subscription status. You will have to customize the plugin
   to implement such a requirement
