Does this work with WP Rss Aggregator

Does this work with WP Rss Aggregator? In particular, their {{original_image_url}} placeholder in their append/prepend feature?

Hi @hervejb.
Sorry, but I don’t know “WP Rss Aggregator”. Please make a test and contact me if you have any issue.
I just tried but there are so many options I don’t know where to start.
Here is a link to the plugin I referenced.
That plugin creates placeholders for selected elements. One of those elements is the url of an externally hosted image for a post. I want to use that element in your tool.
https://kb.wprssaggregator.com/article/308-how-to-set-up-feed-to-posts-image-optionsOkay. Just check if WP Rss Aggregator supports custom fields. If it supports, use with fifu_image_url. Otherwise they won’t work together.
Yes, they support custom fields.
Okay. FIFU image URL is saved in “fifu_image_url” field.
I see it. But how do I transfer the value to the featured image automatically?
Transfer from WPRA to FIFU?
Use the value for the featured image.
Does WPRA have a feature to save a value in a Custom Field?
Where can I download it?
Yes. Here is a link to download the tool. You’ll need to download the feed to post component. And there is an faq on the custom fields feature. Basically, When the tool creates a post from an item in an RSS feed, it stores the url to the item image in a custom field. I’m trying to automatically use that url for the featured image. It works when I manually copy the url. But I want to automate the process.
It seems I would need to buy https://www.wprssaggregator.com/extension/feed-to-post/ and other pro extensions. Is that correct?
If yes, sorry, but by ww.wp.xz.cn forum rules, I’m not authorized to talk about pro features (of any plugin) here, otherwise I could be punished.
Hi, Mark here from WP RSS Aggregator. I can confirm that that’s a premium feature so it cannot be discussed here. @hervejb have you contacted us using the form on our website about this? We may be able to help you out there too.
Thanks Marcel.
Hi Mark, I’ll post my question there as well.
