# Does WordPress have a “Find & Replace” tool?

 * I created content in MS-Word 2007 that I pasted into a WordPress blog page, but
   each arrow pointer symbol therein appears as a cent symbol (¢).
 * In Word, I typed “->” then used the Find & Replace feature to replace the pointer
   with an arrowhead symbol in Wingdings font (Special -> Clipboard Contents).
 * Is there a way in WordPress to find all the “¢” symbols and replace them with
   an arrowhead, like the one in Wingdings?

 * WordPress itself doesn’t have this built-in, but there are plenty of plugins 
   that provide this functionality.

 * With that said, you’re running into this problem because Wingdings is actually
   an entirely separate font. The ¢ symbol is what the arrow is under the Wingdings
   font, which is why you’re seeing it as ¢ under any other font.
 * In this case, to preserve compatibility without forcing viewers to use a separate
   font for just one character, I’d recommend replacing it with > or -> or a small
   image.
