 * Checked against other custom css plugins and this plugin doesn’t fully work in
   all instances of custom css that works with other plugins such as Jetpack.

 * I was looking for a lightweight custom css plugin to replace Jetpack as that
   is all I use Jetpack for. I tried WP Add Custom CSS with code copied and pasted
   from Jetpack but not all of it was processed. I then input the code directly
   from the keyboard and again it did not work. I tried several other plugins, even
   ones not tested with my version of WordPress and they worked without a problem.
   I tried WP Add Custom CSS again and once again it didn’t work. The problem seems
   to revolve around changing the colour of backgrounds and hover in navigation.
   I am using the Striker theme in WordPress 4.0
    Regards

 * Hi Mobyme, thanks for your detailed reply.
 * I tested the plugin using Striker v2.1 and had no problem with backgrounds.

   I could easily override the default hover in navigation using the right css rule:.
   main-navigation li:hover a { color:#00ff00; }
 * If you look at the generated code you can see that the plugin is working, placing
   the right css stylesheet and <style> tags where they should be, so I believe
   the issue you are facing has to do with the css rules your are using.
 * If you need help you can email your link and credentials and I’ll be happy to
   help you.
 * Thanks,
    Daniele

 * This comes up often and I really need to work out a boiler plate reply…
 * Note that I’m not accusing anyone of ill will or bad intentions but asking for
   credentials to get access like that is really discouraged.

 * Please don’t do that: when you offer to get admin access and/or FTP access then
   you’re really going to far and that’s not cool.

 * Unless you willing to take responsibility for that user’s installation for now
   one (and they should NOT let you do that) then please do not ask or suggest that
   someone provide you those admin or FTP details.
 * You can provide assistance here, ask for log data, you can make recommendations
   and even suggest changes. But do not seek admin or FTP access. That’s just going
   too far.

 * My fault, I should have read the forum welcome more carefully!

 * It’s all good. Good intentions count for a lot here. 😉
