# Doesn't send mails

 * HEllo,
 * I start to get crazy with this. I tried everything what I could and it still 
   really doesn’t want to send mail when I reply to a comment if I subscribed to
   it.
 * Strangely, the mail which ask the user to confirm he wants to subcribe, is sent.
 * I tried to desactivate all other plugins, thinking it could be related to a conflict,
   but nothing change when there is just this plugin activated.
 * Please help me !
 * My host is 1and1

 * I’m having the same problem. No emails sent when a comment is replied to by the
   author. Any ideas?

 * Can you please give more details so that this bug can be reproduced?
 * – is comment moderation turned on?
    – is double-check turned on? – do you write
   the reply-comment as an author or with a normal e-mail-adress? Try to write a
   reply-comment when not being logged in.
 * Please give step-by-step-instruction how to reproduce the problem.
 * e.g.
    1. write a comment with e-mail-address 1 2. confirm notifications with 
   double-check 3. administrator approves comment in the backend 4. write a comment
   with e-mail-address 2 5. Notification to e-mail-address 1 not received

 * This was so long ago and many projects since then, that I’ve moved on to a different
   plugin. Sorry, I should have posted that here.
 * I think the problem may have had to do with using Elegant Themes. Even their 
   suggestions didn’t work They seem to jam up a lot of plugins, in my experience.
   Will not be using them ever again.
