# Doesn’t subscribe users

 * It doesn’t add users automatically. I have enabled it in the settings, entered
   the API key, set the list, and set users to be subscribed automatically. When
   I view the log, it says
    `SS_WC_MailChimp_Handler::order_status_changed(): Subscribing
   customer () to list 06eeb4002a` each time someone has created an order. They 
   are however not subscribed to the list.

 * Hi Peter,
 * Typically there is an email address between the parentheses () in that log message.
   This indicates that the user email wasn’t retrieved for the customer. Can you
   confirm that the order has a valid email address?

 * Hi. Thank you for your reply, and sorry for the late reply. When I look at the
   orders, the users do seem to have a valid email address, which are not added 
   to the mailing list. I tested it by making a purchase myself, and then it worked
   fine for some reason. It just doesn’t seem to work when other users make a purchase
