 * Having to edit template files is pretty annoying.

 * Can you explain what doesn’t work? Did you add `the_block` to at leat one of
   your template files?

 * Nope, no changes to template files. The “multiple content blocks” do not show
   up in the admin.

 * I know, but this plugin requires adjustment in your template file. This allows
it to be flexible and can be used in almost any type of theme.
 * There are no settings needed, so there’s not a settings page.
 * Please read documentation and/or installation before saying it doesn’t work and
rating it poorly. In any other case, you can ask help by fellow WordPress users
   in the “Support” section.

 * That’s fair, but couldn’t you have created an admin panel and used the `template_redirect`
   or `get_header` action hook instead?

 * Why would I do that? I want people to place any content block on any place they
want. With any HTML surrounding it.
 * In order to do that you need to edit your theme.

 * I dunno, I’m not the developer 😛 I just think that the current setup is not
ideal. So, I give it 3 stars… instead of 1, which I can now see was unfair.

 * I don’t think so. The setup is quite ideal. You can place additional content
anywhere you want, so it will fit any purpose and any design.
 * The only thing wrong is that some people expect something to happen immediately
when they activate a plugin. However, it only does something if you say it has
   to.
 * In my point of view the solution to that will be a short intro when you activate
the plugin. However, it will be annoying for frequent users who know what they
want. And I don’t see any reason to have documentation in two places. The plugin
refers to the documentation on several occasions. Since using the plugin is relatively
easy, the documentation is quite short.
 * I do like fancy UI’s, but I don’t see any occasion where it would be useful AND
stays flexible. If you have any, please share.

 * I respect that, but like I’ve said, I can’t think of anything better. If I were
to put in the time, I might be able to come up with something, but I am too busy
with other things. At this point, I’m just trying to help you avoid getting more
comments like the ones I’m giving.

 * Off the top of my head, you could have an admin screen whereby a user could specify
what blocks and how many are applied on a post-by-post basis. Some posts may
   need 2, some 3, or maybe all need 5. Then select how they are used on those posts;
either part of `the_content` (in the Loop), or custom inserted with `the_block`

 * I understand, but adding an admin page because it “needs an admin page” and then
thinking of functionalities is not the way you I’d like to write a plugin.
 * I like to think of a problem, and the best way to solve it. You’re thinking of
a feature (without a problem) and making up solutions for non-existing problems.
No offense, but I don’t think this plugin could use an admin page for anything.
 * Your description in the last post just makes MCB cause more maintenance and makes
it less focused. People won’t know if they _need_ to edit the admin page or if
they can just add the code.

 * You’d know best. I’m just saying that I don’t like the way it is, and I may be
of a minority. Thanks for responding
