 * Uploading images was very slow and sometimes impossible – smush.it said it couldn’t
   find the files if the images did upload.
 * After deleting Smush.it uploading is no problem.

 * Do you by any chance use cloudflare or any other CDN service?
    Anything more 
   you can tell us about your installation that might help us pinpoint the cause
   of your issue?

 * Hi Ari,
 * We might use some kind of CND service – I’m not sure, not knowledgable enough.
   Is W3 Total Cache a CND service?

 * No, W3TC by itself is not a CDN service.
    However it does have some options in
   its settings that allow you to use one. Could you please check those options 
   and see if CDN is enabled?
 * If this is not the case, then please be patient for a few more days… an update
   to the plugin is coming really soon!
