• Page never fully loads on the front end. I am running this on a test site with latest WordPress, Twenty Twenty theme, and only Lifepress plugin activated.

    I see this in console:

nivo-slider.css:1 Failed to load resource: the server responded with a status of 404 (Not Found)
style.css:1 Failed to load resource: the server responded with a status of 404 (Not Found)

Hey there mate, are you trying to login as admin or from another user role? I dont think the nivo-slider.css error is effecting this.

Does the page come blank for you?

Sorry for the late reply. The page partially loads.

Video of what I see. https://www.awesomescreenshot.com/video/2144100?key=b260a5a50ad371c80d927be9c2550e5d

Try version 1.0.1 and see if that helped.

Still the same. If I go to my dashboard and click an entry to view it it just takes me to a posts archive. Doesn’t even show the actual Lifepress entry.

Console shows this error for two resources: Failed to load resource: the server responded with a status of 404 (Not Found)

    Two resources named:

    http://tester.summerchilde.com/script/nivo-slider.css
    http://tester.summerchilde.com/style.css

Ok I think i know whats happening. So the lifepress content is loaded via ajax and looks like there is these 2 files you mentioned are called on page and since they dont exists, its giving error on ajax load.

Lifepress does not include this and seems like it is coming from another plugin or theme. Once this missing file error is resolved lifepress should function correct.

I’m not sure why though. I have the default twenty twenty theme active and only your plugin active. Just switched to Twenty Nineteen to see if that would work and get even more errors.

Four of the errors are the same as before but the other 4 new ones are for this:

Strange. I think it’s something wrong with my WordPress installation at the address. Just tried it on another site and it works fine.

edit: I do notice that when you create an entry in the dashboard rather than the front end and then click the “View Lifepress Entry” link in the WP Admin Bar that it goes to a 404 not found. Viewing the entry from the Lifepress Dashboard page works fine tho.

Glad to hear it worked on another install. Must be something strange in that install. Yes the viewing individual entry outside lifepress dashboard is not there yet. But I will add that in the next version update 🙂

    Have a great holiday!

Thanks for checking on it. I see great potential in this plugin as a private online diary. Would be nice if the frontend editor allowed for adding images/formatting text.

    Happy holidays to you too!

Thank you for the ideas 🙂 Image support is also something I’ve thought of for future. I’ve been using this for my personal use for over a year with great success, that was partly the reason why I wanted to share this with others 🙂
