 * I am using Chrome. Maybe I need to know what you mean by “copy and paste images
   from your desktop”? I’ve tried opening several images in different ways but no
   joy.

 * Basically if you can select the image, Ctrl-C and then Ctrl-V it in say Word,
   you should be able to do the same into a WordPress post or page. If your browser
   is supported and not hitting any JavaScript conflicts with other plugins that
   is.

 * Thank you for your response. I have no problem pasting an image into Word, etc.
   Must be POM (phase of the moon).
