# Doesn't Work

 * Would really like to use this plugin. After installing it, I set a name for the
   new Profile field but nothing shows up anywhere. Using latest version of bbPress.

 * Can you confirm that you are using bbpress 2.5.4?
    and if you are, can you check
   that the profile information plugin is still active – I’ve heard that the upgrading
   process to 2.5.4 can leave some plugins deactivated. If not activated, then please
   reactivate and test again.
 * Once you have done those two checks, then we need to check if there is a plugin
   or theme conflict that I need to look at.
 * Plugins
 * Deactivate all but bbpress and profile information. check again whether profile
   information now woks. If it does, re-enable one at a time to see which is causing
   the error, and report back.
 * Themes
 * If plugins don’t pinpoint the problem, switch to a default theme such as twentytwelve,
   and see if this fixes. Again come back to me.

 * bbpress 2.5.4 is confirmed.
 * Looks like it’s the buddypress plugin that’s the problem.

 * ok, I think buddypress has it’s own profile pages?, but it should still show 
   on the forum pages under the avatar for the user.
 * Can you come back with a url so I can see?

 * Yes basically it is using buddypress to do the profile. I have not integrated
   the plugin with buddypress, and have little knowledge of how it works.
 * So for the moment, I’m afraid it’s sorry, but my plugin is not usable in buddypress.
