# Doesn’t work for existing posts

 * I tried the Pro version Trial but since there is no support in the Pro Account(
   just a Freemius account), I’m writing here.
 * I tried it on one new blog post and it seems to work fine. But it doesn’t work
   on blog posts that were written before installing the plugin.
 * I even tried to edit an older blog post and still no summary.
 * Is this not part of the plugin?

 * Hi [@jstneti](https://wordpress.org/support/users/jstneti/), thanks for trying
   our plugin. It’s supposed to work on already existing blog posts, so let’s try
   to figure this out. You tried editing a single post, right? Or batch processing
   too?
 * First thing we could check: To add a summary on an older single post, you have
   to make sure that the “Create a summary when you save this post” checkbox at 
   the Edit post page is checked, and then hit the classic update post button.

 * I missed the “Batch process” tab. It works great.
   I also found the Support tab
   so all good.
