Not for the donor to leave the note themselves. To do that you would need to create a custom field on your donation forms. Is that the correct email address and be sure you haven’t turned them off. Yes, make sure that’s NOT disabled and make sure the email address you have entered for the notifications to be sent to is correct. * Further, make sure your site is sending emails correctly in general, perhaps install an SMTP plugin to help with that, or use the “Email Cop” plugin to see that emails are being sent correctly.
