 * Hi, when I create a new style or script the permalink shows the id as file name.

   I change it with my file name and it creates a “cloned” file: instead of modifying
   it, it creates two identical files.
 * Go to uploads/custom-css-js and I find all my 22 files duplicated: one with my
   name, and the other with original id as name: of course in the WP interface I
   see only my 22 named files.
    Tried to cancel manually the duplicated files but
   the site stops to work, probably because in the database the plugin leaves the
   first one (the one with the id number). Everytime I update a script the “clone”
   is updated.
 * How do they work? are they necessary?
    Also see that many “test scripts” which
   I moved to bin still remain in the uploads folder: I’ll manually cancel, at least
   those ones.

 * Yes, by changing the file name there is an additional file created, so it can
   be linked as an external file.
 * The file with the id as name is not deleted. It is still present. This avoids
   any misunderstandings in the case the file with the id as name is linked from
   within the website or from another website, and then not being accessible anymore
   because of the file name change.
 * May I ask why do you find a problem that both the files are present in the uploads
   folder? Disk space is normally not an issue. Even with 22 files I believe they
   would not add to one megabyte.

 * Thank you Diana,
    no, it is not a problem indeed, just I wanted to be sure about
   that. The problem is that not all the temporary files that I create as test are
   cancelled: some of them remain in the folder even if “definitively cancelled”.
   I will cancel them manually, ok?

 * Yes, you can cancel them manually, if you want.

 * thanks Diana,
    I cancelled them manually. the point is not “how many kb”, of
   course they are nothing …
 * but the main point is that I prefer to keep in order and under control all my
   files directly via FTP: I have my base offline and always compare with online
   structure.
    so if they don’t match I lose a lot of time to check, specially if
   named with id instead of my title.
 * ok, now all in order,
    only a couple of questions:
 * 1) there are 4 files that DO NOT HAVE THEIR “CLONE” (the one named with it’s
   ID):
    I noted that inside there is written:
 * /******* Do not edit this file *******
    Simple Custom CSS and JS – by Silkypress.
   com Saved: Apr 15 2019 | 15:55:33 */
 * is there a reason?
 * 2) I manually cancelled 17 files which were useless (which I cancelled from bin
   weeks ago) … I also use sweep, but these files remained, either with standard“
   delete permanently” in the plugin interface, and with WP sweep …
 * why?

 * You’re asking what is the reason of the comment there? The reason for the comment
   is to explain and inform. I’m not sure what kind of answer you’re looking for.
   If the comment wouldn’t be there, then probably somebody will ask why isn’t there
   any kind of information.
 * This is an open-source plugin and it works the way it works. You can always adapt
   the plugin to your needs, if you want. That is the idea behind “open-source”.

 * Diana sorry,
    probably I did not explain well: my two questions were questions,
   of course not complaints. 1) why 4 css files kept the title but there is not
   its correspondant with id instead of title: and as info I noted that there is
   that wording at the heading (this wording there isn’t in most of other codes)…
   might be that hese files had something special (I guess in our heading) 2) second
   I asked you in your opinion why some files were cancelled and some remeined even
   if cancelled
