Hi @vlasker
Thank you so much for sharing that shortcode.
I noticed that you have two galleries with the ids: 11,12
Could you please check those galleries, see if the same image is available in both galleries?
What happened is if you have the same photo in both galleries, NextGen will show that photo twice, because for the plugin it’s like two different photos.
How many photos does Gallery id 11 have?
How many photos does Gallery id 12 have?
The sum of both galleries photos should be the total amount of galleries in your Lightbox: 11
We hope that this helps, please keep us posted.

I did. Must have happened when I was trying to debug the problem. I deleted gallery 12 (which had 3 photos), and cleared the cache. Now the code is:
<!– wp:imagely/nextgen-gallery –>
[ngg src=”galleries” ids=”11″ display=”basic_slideshow”]
<!– /wp:imagely/nextgen-gallery –>
There are 8 photos in gallery 11.
The double image problem still happens. Same URL.
Hi @vlasker,
I am sorry but I couldn’t actually see what images are repeating. Can you please check again and provide us with the image’s numbers that are repeating?
Mihai
When you hit refresh on the page the second image in the gallery, id 36, flashes below the first image, id 35.
Hi @vlasker,
Thanks for your reply. That’s somehow an expected behavior since the Slideshow is being triggered right after all the images are loading and respectively those images are loading outside the Slideshow instance and it’ll flash for like half of second until all of them are loaded. You can try to use CDN and Caching plugins in order to ensure that the images are loading faster and respectively reduce the flashing effects at its minimum.

Thank you for pursuing this. I appreciate all your messages.
I understand your explanation, but am not happy about the way this feature was implemented. I wanted to use the gallery plugin for both my gallery photos and my slideshows, but can’t live with the double images. My users will complain about this.
I will use a different plugin for my slideshows.
I am turning off my test site now. Let me know if you need to look at it again.
Valerie
Thank you so much @vlasker for letting us know.
We are sorry, if you have some time, Please, we’d like to take a closer look. We may need to deactivate plugins and switch the theme while troubleshooting temporarily. Would you feel OK with that? If so, please send us a bug report here: http://www.imagely.com/report-bug, refer back to this forum thread and let them know Gaby referred you.
Thanks!

I have the same problem too, only a few days ago. Both Nextgen Gallery and WordPress are updated to the latest version. I made many attempts but without success. The only way to avoid the problem is to increase the height of the image in the settings.

Hello @sfortini
If possible, please create a new thread.
We need to guide you into, and after that, we might need to create a bug report.
I’m afraid I couldn’t find the bug report linked with this forum thread and is from three months ago.
Many thanks
