    I am having some issues with Jigoshop downloadable products:

    1. Customer is being asked for shipping even when ordering a downloadable product?

    2. Emails with the download link are not going out. I am the system administrator. I have tested the mail functions and have direct access the the outgoing mail logs on the server, and Jigoshop is not firing an email.

    1. What are you using to create shipping rules?
    2. Please check if new email templates were generated in Jigoshop>Emails. If it’s empty, please go to Jigoshop>Settings>General and generate e-mails manually.

    Thanks for the info. I figured out that I needed to “Generate default emails” on the General tab of settings. We are using Jigoshop Table Rate Shipping.

    No problem!

    In testing, I’m not able to replicate the issue with downloadable products.

    Two questions:

    1. What is Table Rate ‘Condition’ set to?
    2. Could you provide Jigoshop System Info?

    Table Rate Condition set to: Price vs. destination

    When you say you’re not able to replicate the issue, are you saying that the shipping fields do not appear at all, or that they are hidden and there is a checked box that says, “Ship to billing address?”

    I see better what you mean…. I initially thought you meant they were being charged for shipping. You meant, they are being asked for Shipping address…

    Sorry about that! I will ask development if this can be changed for future releases. 🙂

    @daaaave – We have plans to integrate this into Jigoshop 2.1. We plan to have 2.0 release by the end of this month. Which means that 2.1 would probably be during January at the earliest.

    We would have it sooner but there’s just so much that goes into updating our plug-in and the 2.0 looks to be a rather large update already.
