# Downloadable product – on HTTPS site

 * On the product’s page, where you configure the settings for a downloadable product
   I’m trying to enter an encoded URL that is on an HTTPs.
 * When I save/update the settings, the URL also gets HTTP added. So the URL looks
   like this:
 * [http://https%3A%2F%2F&#8230](http://https%3A%2F%2F&#8230);.
 * How do I enter a valid URL for a site using the HTTPS protocol?

 * You should not need to use an encoded URL for your downloads. WooCommerce will
   handle the encoding for you. 🙂
