Even if the date is a month out, I can’t get it into a real draft form. * Clicking the Switch to Draft button does nothing. * I can’t schedule or publish anything new. * **Done the following.** Deactivated and reactivated the plugin. Checked for updates (none needed). Tried different templates to make sure it’s not in my particular format. Cleared the cache. The current version of WP is being used. * I have full administrative use of this account. From your screenshot I can see that your story visibility is marked as private. If you mark that to public and then set your future date for publish then the “**update**” should change to “**schedule**“. * If you have these set to private then they are not publishable which is why you were only getting the update option as they’re only visible to site admins and editors. * Hope this helps to explain this for you and is what you were looking for. We want to check if the issue occurs when Web Stories is the only plugin enabled. Could you use the [Health Check & Troubleshooting plugin](https://wordpress.org/plugins/health-check/) and enable its [troubleshooting mode](https://make.wordpress.org/support/handbook/appendix/troubleshooting-using-the-health-check/#troubleshooting).
