I have activated the plugin for some instances only and I’m detecting there dramatic performance issues when the plugin is activated. Normally I have answer rates of 1 to 1,5 seconds and with the activated plugin I have rates from 5 seconds and more. When I’m switching off WP Word Count per instance … situation normally. Switching on … hell on earth. * There were no problems with the version before and I can limit the performance issues to WP Word Count 2.0.0 certainly. Using the Query Monitor plugin, I was seeing thousands of INSERT queries every time a page loaded, which would delay the page by a good 40-50 seconds. The site in question has 3,300 posts and when I look at my server logs, MySQL is sustaining hundreds of inserts a second for no apparent reason. * It almost sounds like it’s just stuck in a loop updating post counts over and over again. * I just disabled the plugin and page load time dropped significantly. I’m slowly working on a new version to catch up with some improvements to the Pro release so I want to to look into this multi user issue soon. * Would you mind sending a copy of the Query Monitor results to support at linksoftwarellc. com sometime Scott? It was creating HUGE log files in hours.
