 * Hi, please try to set the menu depth option to zero in the menu element.
 * P.S. You can find menu element in **Customizer -> Header Settings** or **Customizer-
   > Footer Settings**.

 * Thank you for the reply. 
   The menu depth is already set to zero. I changed it,
   then changed it back and the problem still persists. Please advise.

   and its working, great job gents!

 * It’s possible that theme updates are sometimes delayed due to WP.org caching.
   Anyway, I’m glad your problem is solved.
