# Drop Down Menu

 * Hi I just installed the drop down menu by [http://www.typedby.com/](http://www.typedby.com/)
   
   It works perfectly. Thanks for doing this plug in. But I would like to know if
   there is a way of customizing the menu. Change the look and changing the positionning.
   Because as you can see, it is not aligned with the rest of my menu items. Anyone

 * The dropdown has a name. I would add an id=dropdown and then style in the css
   with `#dropdown {
    margin-left: xxpx; padding: xxpx; }

 * Alright thanks for the positioning, it works well. Thanks you.
    But I can’t seem
   to find what code to use to customize its look. I tried to use background: #fff;
   border: 1px solid #333; padding: .2em; list-style: none; but its doesn’t give
   really what I thought it would.

 * BIGYOU, I’m curious how you were able to get the comma and spaces between multiple
   categories, e.g.:
    [Category 1, Category 2] Mine display like this: Category 
   1 Category 2 Is there some parameter to be added to “php the_category”? Thanks.

 * those form elements are notoriously difficult to style. We have started out well
   with the right selector of #dropdown. I would try all my styling there. Except
   the bg color which is the color of the div underneath (menu prolly ? )
