# Dropdown aligned vertically

 * Hi,
 * Is it possible to create a dropdown with the filter options aligned vertically?
   When I choose the horizontal layout, the filter is shown in a dropdown. But if
   I choose horizontal or vertical in the filter, in my case ‘category’, this makes
   no difference, the filter items are displayed horizontally in both cases.

 * 1. Horizontal Filter is with dropdowns, the regular filter can not be showed 
   horizontally, the layout won’t work well that way
 * 2. If Category is set Horizontally it will appear in multiple columns, but if
   you set vertical and do not set multicolumn layouts, then the categories should
   appear in a block layout ( 1 per line ).

 * Thank you for your response!
    I had ‘category’ set to vertical already, that 
   was the strange thing. But I just unchecked ‘Show category hierarchy’ and that
   solved the problem.
