Dropdown and UFT Characters

    I encountered a strange phenomenon. We are editing different clubs (custom post types) for a touristic website. Many of the titles have characters liks ‘ or & or “

    These look correct if a cpt is selected, but in the dropdown (field type = “post to edit”) the characters are decoded.

    Has anyone encountered a similar problem and has an idea how to address this?
