# Dropdown menu on hover

 * Hello,
 * In my theme im using a dropdown menu. The menu only shows up by clicking the 
   top item in the menu. I can’t go to the top item because this is only showing
   the dropdown menu.
    How can is show the dropdown menu by hovering a top item?
   By clicking the menu a new page must open, by hovering the dropdown is showing
   up.

 * The parent item for a drop down menu should not be a live link. In the URL field,
   you should only have “#”.
 * This is all by design since touch enabled devices do not have a “hover” state.
