# Dropdown problem

 * Hi, recently I ran into a problem with the dropdown menu. When I hover my link
   to see my subcategories my dropdown is not working correctly. Dropdown are supposed
   to go on the right side but in my case they go to left side trough my parent 
   categories. Please help me to solve this problem.

 * Actually, this is the expected and correct behaviour. 🙂 Let me explain.
 * In your exact case, there isn’t enough space on the left and right side of the
   pane and the menu does not have enough space to “drop down”, so it goes in the

 * The menu can only extend to the maximum of the site width, which can be set under
   the Customiser -> General -> Layout.
