 * Hi,
 * When running a Gtmetrix and Webpagetest on my site, I notice two identical Autoptimize
   css files. Seems to be loading twice and slowing my site down a bit. I can’t
   seem to figure out why. Any ideas?
 * Regards,
 * Mark

 * I can see the 2nd request for the same CSS-file in the network tab of both Firefox
   and Chrome but when inspecting the HTML source the file is referred to only once.
   So a very weird thing happening here ..
 * What happens if you disable “aggregate CSS”, are all CSS-files requested 2 times?
   Or if you disable “optimize CSS” as a whole?

 * Tried both suggestions and all CSS files are only requested once. Perhaps it
   is the way my theme is outputting CSS. I use a popular theme called BIMBER and
   it’s pretty loaded. My other site with the exact same WP-Supercache and Autoptimize
   settings on the same server, only shows one autoptomize CSS file. It is using
   GeneratePress theme. So perhaps it is my theme. Not sure why, though… Any ideas?
   Any insight is much appreciated.

 * No idea I’m afraid, as indeed the CSS-file is only referenced once in the HTML..
   Could indeed be a theme (or plugin) thing, if feasible you could briefly switch
   themes and/ or disable (and re-enable) one plugin at a time to see if you can
   identify a culprit?

 * I will experiment some more and see if I can figure anything out. Definitely
   weird, but yeah, likely a theme or plugin thing. I think a theme thing since
   I have another site using same theme with same issue. Maybe I will ask the theme
   editor once I renew my subscription to them. In the meantime, if I figure anything
   else out, I will update this thread. Thanks for your help.

   Thanks for the follow-up. I did not. I think it may be the way the theme is generating
   dynamic css.

 * Does the problem go away when (briefly) switching themes?

   I’m not sure. We didn’t test but we do have other sites on same server using
   different theme and there is no double CSS.

 * Well, that seems to point to the theme indeed, maybe contact the developers?

   Yeah, we need to renew our license in order to do so and will do that eventually.
   The theme is pretty popular – called Bimber. My guess is the coding of the theme.

 * will close the topic as resolved, but don’t hesitate to add any additional info
   once you’re able to get feedback from the theme developers markob17
