# Duplicate comments problem

 * (1) Comments being left by some users are posted twice.
 * (2) When comments are posted, the system times out and delivers an error message—
   nevertheless, the comment is posted (and possibly duplicated.)
 * (3) WordPress acts as if it is letting me trash duplicate comments, but they 
   don’t actually get deleted. None of my edits/changes/deletions have any effect.

 * (4) WordPress also won’t let me delete spam comments which are already in the
   spam folder.
