# Duplicate content created automatically

 * Hi there
 * I notice that since I have installed this plugin, in the back end of WordPress
   it has saved copies of the default language content in the new language content
   fields. I was expecting the new language fields to be blank unless translations
   were added.
 * This causes issues with:
       1. **Duplicate content** – the foreign language pages have the same content 
          as the default language and I am certain Google will not like this.
    -  1. **Conditional display of translations** – I would like to only show the translation
          flag links if a translation is available.
 * Please could you advise how I should deal with this. I have looked for a setting
   but cannot find one.
