Duplicate Post Plugin Outdated

    Hey there!
    I really like Design Approval and want to purchase additional extensions however the Duplicate Post Plugin that you suggest should be added in order to be able to see different versions of a design for the client is outdated. It hasn’t been updated in 9 months. It says it works only up until WordPress 3.8.3.

    Do you have any plans of developing your plug in so that it doesn’t have to rely on 3rd party plugins? Unfortunately, I can’t use Design Approval and install an outdated plugin.
    Do you have any other current plug ins that can be used instead?

    Thanks for contacting us, well it’s your lucky day because actually you do not need to install that plugin for our plugin to work. We only suggested adding that to speed up the process of duplicating a post and from what I can see it was just updated a few months ago. https://ww.wp.xz.cn/plugins/duplicate-post/

    Maybe you are referring to the Custom Post Type plugin, which is outdated and in fact we made a fix late last year that made it so that plugin is not required anymore. Where did you see the note saying it was required so we can remove that?

    Sorry I saw your note about it not updating in 9 months. Either way that plugin is not required it was just a suggestion to help speed up creating a new version for clients. We actually still use it and have no problems even though it says it only works with 3.8.3. Maybe you could find another one though that would do the same to help speed up productivity.
