The plugin has given me some headache. 🙁 When I rewrite an old article I use the option “Rewrite & Republish”. But as soon as I save my changes in Elementor the article is published. I don’t get the chance to set my own time.
Are there setting I have to change for not publishing it immediatly? If it only works like that unfortunately I can’t use the plugin anymore.
    Thanks for your support.
    Best regards,
    Maria

    Hey @marijen

We’re sorry to hear that the Yoast Duplicate Post plugin isn’t working as intended. Could you check if you have the latest version of Elementor and Yoast Duplicate Post?

When we click on ‘rewrite and republish’ for an existing post or page created with Elementor, it should create a new draft (Draft, Rewrite & Republish of post) which you can edit.

Just to clarify, after you’ve made your changes, are you clicking on the ‘save draft’ link or are you clicking on the ‘republish’ button? Would it be possible for you to attach a screenshot of what you’re clicking from your end and it resulting in publishing it immediately?

You can use a site such as snipboard.io to upload a screenshot and share a link here.
