I found it quite easy to use so far, however, I’ve run into an issue which I’m not entirely sure about. * I’m using the Events Calendar plugin for the ‘events’ posts on our site, and we have different user roles for each event (these roles are named after the city the user is from). * I’ve managed to create the roles, and only allow the assigned role to see a specific event. So anyone within that role (e.g. in the ‘Tamworth Users’ role), will only see Tamworth specific events, as that’s the role that is currently been assigned to them. * My issue is that once a user in that role either creates or duplicates the role, it gets added to the site, but they can’t see it. In the admin dashboard, ‘Event X’ can only be seen by those in ‘Group X’ user role. As it stands, this has been set up correctly and works fine. Other user roles, such as ‘Group Y’ and ‘Group Z’ can’t see that post/event in the admin dashboard. * However, the moment a user in ‘Group X’ duplicates an existing post, they immediately cannot see that post. Only admin accounts can see it as they have full access to everything. * We’re using PublishPress Permissions to show only posts/events for that particular user role. * Our issue is that the user cannot see the post they are trying to duplicate. Most likely because the post’s visibility is not assigned to their user role (‘ Group X’), but has been reset back to the default values. The published post’s permissions are left unmodified when a revision is submitted and approved. * What are you trying to achieve with the permissions copying?
